Why do we still need live music?

Listening to recorded music is comfortable.

But music was born to be shared.

When we attend a live performance something special happens between performer and audience.

Emotion travels in both directions.

The musicians sense the energy of the audience and the audience senses the emotion of the moment.

This exchange turns each performance into something unrepeatable.

That is why even a work that we have heard hundreds of times can move us in a completely new way when we experience it live.«Massa vitae tortor condimentum lacinia quis vel eros donec felis eget velit aliquet sagittis id consectetur eget nulla facilisi etiam dignissim diam quis enim lobortis scelerisque.»

Music is not just entertainment.

It is also a way to connect with other people.

Attending musical events allows:

At PianoMeetups we believe that this social dimension is as important as the music itself.

That’s why our meetings combine live performances with spaces to talk and meet other attendees.

Live music can:

Listening to other people perform music allows us to discover new works and new ways of understanding them.

Music creates bridges between people of different ages, professions and experiences. Participating in cultural activities helps broaden horizons and get out of the daily routine.

Participating in cultural activities helps broaden horizons and get out of the daily routine.

Each performance contains spontaneous elements impossible to reproduce on a recording.

PianoMeetups Madrid was born with a simple idea:

Create a space where live music could be enjoyed in a close, participatory and human way.

Since 2020 we have held over 100 events and built a community of over 1,500 members on Meetup.

Our meetings usually bring together:

It is not necessary to play any instrument to attend.

Many people come just to listen, discover new repertoires and enjoy the atmosphere.

A PianoMeetup is not a traditional concert.

It’s not a class either.

Not a competition.

It is an experience where musicians and the public share the same space.

Where each interpretation contributes to creating a unique atmosphere.

And where music serves as a meeting point between people who probably would never have met otherwise.

It doesn’t matter if:

You will always find a place within the PianoMeetups community.

Discover why more than 1,500 people are part of our musical community in Madrid.

!["Sunlit]("https://i0.wp.com/pianomeetups.com/madrid/wp-content/themes/blocksy/inc/components/patterns/assets/pattern-image-3.webp?w=1290&ssl=1")
