PianoMeetups is a night to experience the piano up close: listen, play if you feel like it and then share the experience.You don’t have to be a professional or perform a piece to come.
This is how a PianoMeetup goes
We begin with a quiet reception to check in, check out the space, and greet the community. Then come the piano performances: amateurs of different levels participate, with classical repertoire, soundtracks, jazz, pop, their own compositions and much more.
Do I have to play the piano?
No. You can just come to listen to live music and enjoy the atmosphere. If you want to perform, check the page for each event: it explains how to request a place and the expected time to play.
A space to share, not to compete
The idea is to create attentive and close listening. There is no audition, mandatory style or minimum level. Each person shares the music they want and the audience is an essential part of the experience.
The social piano
After the performances we continued the night chatting and having a drink. It is the perfect time to discuss repertoire, meet other attendees and extend the meeting beyond the stage.
